Level 2

•       I produced a simple picture, which shows some of the symbols on the offrenda.

•       I have begun to explain why the offrenda is important during the celebrations.

•       I gave a brief response to question 3.

 Level 3

• My artwork includes some symbols connected to the symbol used on the offrendas.

• I have explained the importance of the offrenda quite well.

• I made at least two relevant points for question 3.

 Level 4

• My artwork includes symbols used on the offrenda.

• I have understood how symbols are used to show the meaning of the celebration.

• I used more than three ideas for question 3, and tried to explain my thinking clearly.

Level 5

• My artwork includes many symbols connected to the symbols used on the offrenda.

• I clearly explained how symbols are used to explain the meaning of the celebration and I have given examples.

• My answer to question 3 is detailed, clearly explaining the relevance of the celebration. I have personalised it to make it look more interesting.

Level  6+

• I have produced a very detailed piece of artwork, showing the symbols connected to the offrenda.

• I have used technical terminology/symbolic imagery to explain and discuss the importance of the offrenda.

• I can interpret and apply the meaning of religious teaching and offer my own views on them.

• I have produced a personalised, independent and mature response to question 3 using relevant evidence
